I couldn’t hold out until Friday with all of the great stuff that’s suddenly popping up, after a slow week last week.

First, please vote! My post at BeCentsAble this week is all about how voting is green and frugal (and important!). Take advantage of those great freebies and then come back here after you’ve done your civic duty :)

Second, lots and lots of discount codes on green and natural items, if you are starting to think about gifts or just want to save a little money on things for yourself!

Is Freepeats in your city? Now open in 35 cities across the country and with more than 11,000 members, this online forum allows parents to pick up gently-used baby, kid, and maternity items for free. Freepeats is celebrating one year with Free Membership Week (thru November 8) - you can get a free lifetime membership, but you have to join this week!

Through this Saturday, several natural beauty and skincare items are on sale at Target including Burt’s Bees, Yes To Carrots, Alba, Giovanni and Dr. Bronner’s. Yes To Carrots body butter tubs will be more than 80% off (only $1.99!) at Walgreens on Black Friday, per ads that have just been released. I’m already envisioning these in a basket with some homemade bath scrubs as a cute gift for babysitters or friends. (Thanks to Attention Target Shoppers and From Wags to Riches for the tips.)

Lastly, eco-guru Dan Seo has a bedding and linen collection at JC Penney (who knew?). Lots on sale now, including cotton and bamboo blend towels and sheet sets.

Wow, kind of makes up for that big old nothing on Friday, huh?

I have to get some more details about this, but it is the coolest freebie I’ve ever encountered… (via Ecobunga)

Buy 3 natural/organic baking products totaling $10 or more and get a free culinary class!

What a great deal to take advantage of with a friend and then have a free night out! They have more than one class in my area, so why not?

Need another reusable bag? Need vitamins? Nature’s Bounty is giving away a tote (with a $1/off coupon) when you sign up at their site.

You might not think that you need your own bags for bulk bin purchases, but what if they’re made from Amy Butler and other awesome fabric and are 15% off? Green Mom Finds shares the discount code (GMF15) and a give away. (Now that’s a cool hostess gift, stuffed with some nuts or granola, don’t you think? And speaking of granola, get a free sample of Bear Naked Fruit and Nut blend here.)

A free Kashi cookie. Yum! I wonder if they send a coupon or an actual cookie…?

Four beautiful Beco Butterfly Carriers are on sale at The Portable Baby. Regularly $139, you can get Espresso brown, Metro Black, Martini, or (my favorite) Abby for only $89. I am so tempted to pick one up at this price! I have a Beco 4th Generation carrier that I love and a buckle tai I use too, as well as a ring sling. And I have 8 strollers. So really, I don’t *need* another carrier, right? (Thanks to amazing triplet mama Jen for pointing out the sale.)

Drugstore.com has all sizes of Seventh Generation diapers on sale for $41.89/case. It’s only a dollar less than Amazon, true, but you get their store rewards (good on future purchases), 6% in rewards if you have the Upromise toolbar, free shipping when you spend $49 (only $25 to qualify for your first order), and if you’re a new customer, start from this link and you’ll get $10 off a $50+ order.

Plus, they are also offering a deal if you spend $50 on Seventh Generation natural products, to get $10.00 off the entire order! Grab one or two more products you usually buy anyway, and you’re essentially getting them for free. I think I’ll do this deal twice, since we’re just hitting size 3 diapers and if I remember correctly, we’ll be in this size for quite some time. A few extra steps, but a good price on diapers!

Another reusablebags code, and the other one is still good, too!

For your order of $50 or more (before tax and shipping) www.reusablebags.com will give you one of their Acme shopping bags free. At checkout enter the coupon code FREEACME (case sensitive). One bag per customer while supplies last.

I’m battling against the bologna with some new wrap-n-mats, myself.

Need a really cool looking eco-friendly area rug? Green Your Decor features this stunning bamboo rug from CB2.com. It’s 5×8 feet and an amazingly cheap $39.95.

Are you a KMart shopper? Get some printable coupons for $5 off any purchase when you sign up for their weekly email list.

It seems like the internet has gone on vacation, doesn’t it?

I’m not much of a sweepstakes person, but Freebies 4 Mom pointed out a Coinstar one that is super easy to enter and has a lot of gift card prizes:

Coinstar is Free. There are over 1,000 prizes with the most numerous being gift cards: $5 Starbucks, $10 iTunes, and $10 Amazon.com. This is a promotion to spread the word that you can count coins for free on Coinstar machines. This sweeps ends December 31, 2008.

I *heart* Coinstar as it is. It’s the #1 clutter-buster: pocket change into iTunes giftcards. I always have an iTunes balance and never worry about downloading a song or an album on a whim.

From a local Attachment Parenting YahooGroup I belong to, a timely code for the awesome site reusablebags.com

Just thought I’d share this discount code good for 20% your entire order at reusablebags.com:

f70838

It’s good until 04/02/2009.

In addition to having some of the best green school lunch options including bento boxes and cloth bags, right now, Kleen Kanteen sippy cups are $16.40 before this discount, and I think $13.12 is by far the lowest price you are ever going to see on these!

And these gorgeous Envirosax are $19.95, on sale as well. $15.96 for a set of amazing reusable bags is a fantastic price point (and an awesome holiday gift, if you’re thinking ahead).

What I covet (and it is almost my birthday…) is the Market Basket in Flora to bring to the farmers market each week:

Green Mom Finds has a code for 10% off (ECO10) the new eco-friendly line at The Company Store. Good through the end of the month. If you’re in the market for sheets or towels, the prices are reasonable for organic and the colors look really nice.

Try any of the Notebook Experiments at Mom Advice by Tuesday, Aug 26, post about it, and you could be in the running for a Flip Ultra camcorder.

The coupon preview is up for this week with no organic deals to speak of. I’ll be buying the paper this week because I’m participating in a survey through the CVS advisor panel that will net me $10 ECB. I’m challenging myself to read most of the paper and reuse as much of it as I can before recycling. Maybe the newspaper party hats as featured in the Amy’s Notebook to serve as my contest entry?
